Ayurveda, the ancient Hindu healing system, teaches that we are each born with a unique set of
attributes that falls into some combination of the three doshas: vata, pitta, kapha. Learning your body
type can help you understand why you have dry skin all year long, or why you absolutely love spicy foods
even though they upset your digestion, or why a salad is the most difficult thing for you to eat. Just as
our nutrition and supplementation needs to be catered to us as individuals, doing the same with your yoga practice will bring you the most benefit.
Private and Semi-Private Ayurvedic yoga sessions are available by appointment.
New yoga clients will come early to their first session for a brief consult so we can determine your constitution and key imbalances before we begin. There isn’t anyone too sick, too weak, too healthy or too fit who can’t benefit from a yoga practice that specifically caters to your individual needs.
